Barney are an up tempo, guitar driven Punk band from Northern Ireland. Following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones, The Outcasts, Rudi, Defects, Protex etc. They're no New Kids On The Block, as far back as the 90's they were supporting the likes of SLF, NOFX and the UK Subs. Their hometown is Newtownabbey and they line up Rab (lead vocals/guitar), Jeremy (lead guitar), Bret (drums/vocals) and Scotty (bass) and their sound has been described as being a mix of Pop Punk and early Oi!.
