The band was formed in 1982 with Di on drums, Braz on guitar and Pezao on bass.
They started making a more hardcore punk sound, like most bands of the era.
The name of the band was taken from the American label Alternative Tentacles, due to the founder of the band, Ademilson, to be very fan of the Dead Kennedys.
He died some time later, still in the 80s, a victim of drowning.
With the death of drummer Di, Braz takes on the drumsticks; Pezao leaves the band.
Braz goes on drums and joins the band Lula, formerly Neglecting bass and Junior,
a Dead Kennedys fan on guitar, and Joe 90 takes on the vocals and compositions of the songs, which helped to influence and modify the band's sound.
At the time Joe was with the band Kaos 64 where he played guitar.
This formation lasted a long time, they made several concerts in SÒo Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Brasilia, Minas Gerais ...
Their first recordings appear in 1985, in the compilation Sound Attack [1]. A year later Parasitas Obrigatorios is released.
A worldwide underground classic, the album shows the band moving subtly away from hardcore punk to a more streetpunk / Oi sound!
they sounds like other brazilian bands as Garotos Podres and Histeria.
However, the sound and lyrics remain the same: acidic, critical, from the streets and angry, as they have always been.
