Coccyx

Dan Turgeon, Jessie Schneider, and Jeff Hino met in Buckley, Washington in the 1990s. Shannon Eoff met Dan when she auditioned for a metal band at the music store where she worked in Enumclaw, Washington in 2000. After a couple rehearsals with the Metal band, Dan mentioned that he was starting a Punk Rock band with Jeff and Jessie and wanted her to audition. After the first practice, there were great vibes and creative bonding so they stuck together from thereon. They all loved playing music together and getting the crowd moving. Later, the name Coccyx was established. It sounded Punk Rock enough and made for cool logo ideas. There were a couple second guitarists that were temporary along the way but none stuck. Coccyx were well-known for their energetic live show, memorable lyrics, and go-for-broke attitudes. Coccyx recorded three CDs at Jeff's home via mobile studio between 2000-2002. In spring 2002, Shannon moved to Oregon with her family but made the trek back to record the third CD while 6-1/2 months pregnant. The band reunited in January 2010 to headline a benefit concert in Tacoma for Jeff's younger brother who was going through brain cancer at the time but has now fully recovered. Currently, Dan plays solo music under the monikers Daniel Turgeon and Lost Pages in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Shannon plays drums for GodSong (Newberg, OR) and Warrior Bride Awaken conferences (various locations).
