Ci sono momenti difficili, complicati, che sembrano portare alla rassegnazione, attimi di solitudine e di inerzia in cui ci si abbandona nelle mani della quotidianità, della persuasione, dell'abitudine. Lotte che sembrano non avere fine. Ci sono poi quegli attimi in cui tutto sembra più lucido, in cui si sceglie, si concretizza e si rifiuta. Attimi che possono durare un istante e contenere la libertà di dire “io sono vivo”. L'impulso che fa abbracciare l'ignoto, ciò che si oppone alla monotonia della costrizione, la consapevolezza del proprio essere unico e l'unico autore del proprio pensiero e delle proprie azioni. È quell'attimo che è una scintilla per il fuoco delle nostre coscienze, che può far cadere un mondo di certezze alle spalle. È l'attimo in cui decidiamo che rischiare le conseguenze di una scelta sia comunque meglio che rischiare di non farla mai una scelta. È l'attimo in cui si affilano le idee così come si affilano i coltelli.
È l'attimo del dubbio.

There are difficult times, complicated, moments that seem to lead to resignation, moments of solitude and inertia in which we are left in the hands of the everyday, of persuasion, of habit. It's the moment that is a spark to the fire of our consciences, that can bring down a world of certainties. It's the moment when we decide that risk the consequences of a choice is still better than never risk to take a choice. It's the moment when we sharpen our ideas as well as the knives are sharpened.
It's the moment of doubt.
